Hayfever (including allergic rhinitis)
DO you have an itchy nose, eyes or mouth. Watery eyes, sneezing and nasal discharge? Then you may have hayfever! Do you know that, like Asthma, this illness may be caused by moulds, mites, gases, chemicals and pollens, as well as other allergens of plant or animal origin in the air we breath? It is one of the most frequent allergies found in the environment and is commonly manifested by a runny nose or itchy eyes. It can also be caused by hay - but rarely!
This practical information is made available by the Allergy Centre. An Allergist can tell you if you have Hayfever, what it is, why you have it, how you can be tested for it, what you can do about it, the best treatment, whether you should be desensitised, the best medication to use, the best place to seek treatment and whether you can get a cure for Hayfever.
