EpiPen® is an auto-injector that administers epinephrine (also known as adrenalin).  This is the definitive  emergency treatment for severe allergic reactions. These reactions, called anaphylaxis, can become fatal within minutes if untreated. We recommend that everyone with a severe allergy, carry a portable device like the EpiPen® auto-injector at all times.
